Today we started the topic ‘Ideal Home’. We talked about types of places people may live, types of housing in the UK and then we did a dictation of our homes.
Then we looked at the phrase ‘flying the nest’ and 2nd conditional ‘waking up on the wrong side of the bed’.

Today we finished off the topic of film and looked at the trailer for Dunkirk and The Godfather.
Then we played Word Up.
Write a film review of a classic or must see film.
Complete the worksheet on body vocab.
Usually, the most important film directors uses popular places to film his masterpieces but for the cinema fans visiting those places it can be a hobby.

Today we did about Films, Genres and Cinema. Page 55/56 and page 168 Cinema at the back.
Write an article about a famous location in Spain used to film.
Use similiar style to the articles on page 54-55
E.g. use past participles and passive voice all tenses.

Today we reviewed the answers to the listening assessment and did the speaking assessment. Well done everyone! Then to finish semester 2 we went and had tapas and practiced our English!

Today we did a preposition activity, learnt about modern manners, then an activity about what you would do in an awkward situation. Then we looked at the etiquette of mobile phone use and the grammar must, have to and should.

Today we did a mini presentation of our January diary.
